Focus on digital healthcare:
our impressions of the DMEA 2025

The DMEA – Europe’s leading event for digital health – took place in Berlin from 8 to 10 April 2025. We from the Panoff Health Care team were also there and were able to experience at first hand how dynamically the market for digital healthcare solutions is developing – especially with regard to acute hospitals and long-term care facilities.

Digital innovations – tangible and practical

The DMEA 2025 impressively demonstrated that digital healthcare solutions are no longer a dream of the future. Many exhibitor stands and specialist forums focussed on important topics such as
Particularly relevant for us: Innovations that optimise clinical processes, reduce the workload of nursing staff and enable secure, seamless data integration between the players in the healthcare system.
The DMEA also had a lot to offer in terms of content: Exciting presentations discussed interoperability, cyber security and digital sovereignty – topics that will determine the success or failure of digitalisation strategies in the future.

What we take with us – and what counts now

One key learning: the trend is clearly moving towards practical orientation. More and more digital approaches are showing real feasibility in day-to-day care.

Our conclusion: DMEA 2025 emphasises how important it is to provide hospitals and care facilities with strategic, user-oriented and sustainable support on their digital transformation journey.

What does that mean for you?

If you work in a hospital or long-term care facility and would like to actively shape the digital transformation, please contact us. Together we will develop strategies that work – for better care, noticeable relief and more security for the future.
